Started game on the front foot taking game to Warminster and deservedly took the lead on 6 minutes when Harry Myles found Billy Cookson and his left wing cross was bundled home somehow by Robbie Tripp for his first Corsham goal, didn't let up and nearly extended the lead when the hard working Ben Pring saw his effort come back off the post and Myles had a 20 yard effort turned round the post, sadly we didn't take the chances and from a free kick Warminster drew level when a free header from 6 yards looped over Chris Snoddy to level things, got back on the attack and only two superb stops prevented Lewis Russell and Ajay Arithoppah from taking us in at halftime ahead.
Never really got going 2nd half and Snoddy had to be at his best on two or three occasions to keep things level before the excellent Tom Welch thumped home a free kick from 22 yards past Snoddy to give Warminster the advantage on 70 minutes.
Threw all we had at it and Myles was unlucky to see his long range drive thump the crossbar but Warminster should have wrapped things up on a couple of occasions when they missed opportunities when it seemed easier to score, we kept plugging away though and earned are reward in the 5th minute of injury time when Myles was brought down on the edge of the box and Callum Elms saw his free kick somehow find its way past the keeper and into the bottom corner to send the Southbank faithful home happy with a well deserved point.
Not the best of games but probably a fair result officiated by a young man with a little bit to learn but well helped out by two excellent assistants, well done lads for sticking at it and to man of the match Alex Pring who battled away for 90 + minutes when clearly under the weather.
