After the disappointing exit from the cup the week before against a very good Wroughton side by the odd goal, we were hoping to add three points to our total,
The game couldn't have started better, with a good move and the ball played back across the goal by Billy Cookson for Adam Mitchell to score after 5 mins, the game was quite even but we were not at our best and Pewsey levelled, before Mitch got his second, we went in at half time leading. Had Pewsey not left their shooting boots at home it could have been a lot different at half time.
Unfortunately it wasn't long before Pewsey had put a long cross into the box which their forward headed over Luke to make it 2 all. As the game went on we did start to create chances and play better with a clever move down the right, Billy put a great cross in for Mitch to head home to complete his hat trick and give us a 3 2 win.
It was good to see Calum Elms back playing after such a lengthy lay off.
