After a disappointing defeat on Saturday we asked the players to put in a passionate performance against our local rivals.
We didn't start as we would have liked and deservedly went behind after 5 minutes.
That woke us up and despite another set back of Tom Bond having to go off through a hamstring injury we grew into the game.
It was then end to end and we had a few chances of our own before going a further goal down curtesy of ex Corsham play Callum Demkiv.
We suffered a further setback when our goalkeeper Luke Roberts had to go off with a serious leg injury just before halftime.
We asked the players to give it their all in the second half and they certainly did.
Substitute goalkeeper Sam Thomson made 2 good save at the start of the half but then it was all Corsham.
The players really did try everything to get us back into the game and when Dan Heavey scrambled in a goal in really gave us the belief to get the equaliser.
We went with 3 up front and the players really pushed on but despite some close efforts and good goalkeeping from the opposition we were unable to get the all important second goal.
After the game we expressed our pleasure at the second half display despite the result and asked the players to start the next game in this manner.
Here's hoping for speedy recoveries from the two injured lads.
