It is a very proud moment and an honour for me to now lead Corsham Town Football Club as Manager, having grown up in the area and previously played for the club. I am an extremely ambitious person and there are three things I hope to achieve.

Firstly, to be successful in the league and be victorious in cup competitions, playing in an entertaining style with a nucleus of Corsham players, which in turn will attract bigger crowds to Southbank and get Corsham Town back playing at the level that it belongs.

Secondly, create a structure at the club that provides a clear pathway from young players to progress from when they join AFC Corsham at five years old. Benefiting from top coaching, development and fun, then having the opportunity to progress in to senior teams at Corsham Town and continue a lifetime love of the game. It will be my job to ensure that when they come to me and my coaches that every individual is developed to reach their full potential and be the best player and person they can be.

I have seen too many talented 16-18 year olds enter senior football and cease to improve and, even worse, drop out of football all together. I believe the period from 18 - 23 are the most critical in a player’s development, so they need to receive good coaching, mentoring, support and guidance to fulfil their full potential. My aim is to produce players that will help the club win matches and support their advancement to a higher level if possible. To achieve this, it is paramount that we also create a similar pathway for coaches, who will develop and support them on their journey.

Thirdly, together with our Chairman Chris Perry and the committee, make the football club the heart of the community. A place where the players, their families and supporters love coming each week. Working with local schools, businesses and sports clubs, create an organisation that can provide football and sport for all in the Corsham and surrounding area, which will benefit the children and adults for years to come.

I am pleased to announce that Stuart Beeho will be my Assistant Manager, we have already been busy putting plans in place for pre-season and assembling a group of players that will make the town proud.

I will look to keep you all updated regularly with our progress and news of any fixtures we have coming up in pre-season.

I look forward to seeing you all at the Southbank soon as we start an exciting new chapter in Corsham Town’s history
