With Saturday’s point against Cinderford, a second-place finish for The Quarrymen is guaranteed. This is the highest-place finish for the club since 2006 when Nobby Bush’s team won the Western League.
Second place means we will be hosting a playoff semi-final on Tuesday 16th April (subject to change!) which is a huge boost for the club, given the fantastic support we have received this season.
We are currently on a 13-game unbeaten run having picked up 33 points out of a possible 39 with 10 wins and 3 draws. It’s fair to say we are approaching the end of the season in fine form but we are going to need our twelfth man over the next few weeks to give us the best chance at promotion.
