Since my appointment I have put together a very strong coaching staff, who share a similar vision for the club and the correct mentality towards the season ahead. Check our website over the next few days as I introduce them to you.

We have been busy contacting the players from last season (a special mention must go to Jutty for his assistance and hard work with this matter) and also some new targets that we believe can bring extra quality to the squad. We have just completed our second week of preseason, which has been open to 1st team, reserve and u18 players and we have had 52 different people attend. It has been a very positive start to our preparations for the 2017/18 season and I have been impressed with the individuals we have at the club. It is now our job to shape them in to a winning team over the next 5 weeks, ready for Saturday 5th August, when we start the new campaign. Players can now be registered and I will keep you updated over the coming weeks of our signings.

Off the pitch, we are very grateful for the volunteers who have been hard at work, renovating the ground and getting the pitch ready. The club house is next to be redecorated, in time for our first friendly and the functions due to take place at The Southbank. A few club members have undergone media training by Cuppy, in order to keep this website and our other social media channels regularly updated so our fans are better informed regarding the latest news and events. We now have an official Corsham Town FC Facebook page in addition to a Corsham Town Facebook group for our fans.

There have been some very positive meetings and conversations between representatives of Corsham Town FC and AFC Corsham as we look to build a stronger relationship that will benefit the youth players in the area in the immediate and long-term future. We have some great ideas that we all look forward to seeing come to fruition over the next few weeks and months.

There is a real buzz at Corsham Town at the moment, with everyone pulling together to help the club be successful on and off the pitch. It is now my job to ensure that the team lives up to the high expectations - if the players’ attitude to hard work continues then I am sure that we have some exciting performances to look forward to.
